As my web technologies class comes to a close we had one final project to put what we learned to the test. And to be honest, I’ve learned so much in this class I wasn’t even sure where to begin with this project.

We were given a code and more or less told to make it our own. Total creative control. It was practically a dream. I actually enjoyed the streamline look of the original code so to start I changed some basics like the navigation bar color and the font choice. Next I changed the names in the nav bar and of course went through and updated the text to fir me.

Of course I couldn’t keep the photos so I updated that as well to reflect me. I was especially proud of this part because six weeks ago I couldn’t get one photo to show up on my web page and now I’ve got three! Being able to track my growth like this is something I didn’t anticipate but I’m so glad I can do now.

I’m really happy with the final look of my webpage I think it takes a little bit of all my favorite design elements I learned in the course and reflects me very well. I’m so thankful for everything this course has taught me and I’m especially grateful that I am able to see the results of my hard work. Most classes just test your knowledge of facts that you’ve memorized but here I can physically see everything that I’ve learned. And I’m amazed with just how much I’ve learned.
